OIL ON CANVAS with wrapped edges . . . my favorite.
This painting reminds me of the LUSH and MASSIVE flowers I saw as a 3 & 4 year old in SUNKEN GARDENS, Denver, Colorado. A lasting memory and the way I paint...lushly.

ARTISTS STATEMENT

You may email me at jerrinotjerry777@gmail.com if you're interested in discussing a painting or better yet, PURCHASING ONE. I'll answer within 24 hours. THANK YOU! Unfortunately, I have no social media and no cell/mobile phone. Really. None. Crazy, but someday I'll fix that. . . .I'm moving this summer to get closer to contemporary art galleries in Kansas. I'm 3/4 packed. . . . .

About myself:

I've been painting ABSTRACTLY for over 56 years and actually began in grade school. My grade school art teacher, Mrs. Reynolds, used to push her grocery cart full of art supplies to each of our homerooms for 'projects' and one day she informed me: "No Jerri, the sky is always blue and grass is always green" after a tempera paint project. When I used to be married in the 70's, my genius art teacher taught us to SEE "space through patterns" which broke my flat space style I began at sixteen. I've developed my personal style ever since. Had I not been a self-employed house painter for 31 years in Colorado AND if I'd have been a social media star, perhaps I'd be selling. But, nope . .. not yet...waiting for an honest art gallery to want me!

thank you for visiting my website.
